GLEN HEAD, N.Y. (AP) _ The First of Long Island Corp. (FLIC) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $10.1 million.
The bank, based in Glen Head, New York, said it had earnings of 39 cents per share.
The holding company for The First National Bank of Long Island posted revenue of $34.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $24.7 million, which did not meet Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $41.6 million, or $1.63 per share. Revenue was reported as $104.8 million.
The First of Long Island shares have climbed 4 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 25 percent in the last 12 months.
