Fluor adds Lynn Swann to board of directors

IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Fluor Corp. said Monday that it has elected Pro Football Hall of Famer Lynn Swann to its board of directors.

The construction and engineering company said that his appointment increases the size of its board to 13 members.

Swann is president of Swann Inc., a marketing and consulting firm he founded in 1976. He also serves on the board of Caesar's Entertainment Corp., American Homes 4 Rent and Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, a private company.

He helped the National Football League's Pittsburgh Steelers win four Super Bowls in the 1970s and 1980s and was a sports commentator for ABC for nearly 30 years. He mounted an unsuccessful run for governor in Pennsylvania in 2006.
