Fly Leasing: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

DUN LAOGHAIRE, Ireland (AP) _ Fly Leasing Ltd. (FLY) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $20.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Dun Laoghaire, Ireland-based company said it had profit of 68 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 75 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 47 cents per share.

The commercial aircraft leasing company posted revenue of $104.6 million in the period.

Fly Leasing shares have increased nearly 2 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 4 percent in the last 12 months.
