The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 2 cents per share.
The provider of manufactured technologies and applied products in the energy sector posted revenue of $267 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $286.3 million.
Forum Energy shares have declined 48 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $8.08, a decrease of 39 percent in the last 12 months.
