RICHARDSON, Texas (AP) _ Fossil Group Inc. (FOSL) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $47.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Richardson, Texas-based company said it had profit of 94 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to $1.01 per share.
The watch and accessories maker posted revenue of $786.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $3.5 million, or 7 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.54 billion.
Fossil Group shares have climbed slightly since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has increased nearly 10 percent. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $15.77, an increase of 74 percent in the last 12 months.
