TORONTO (AP) _ Franco-Nevada Corp. (FNV) on Monday reported third-quarter profit of $101.6 million.
The Toronto-based company said it had net income of 54 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 45 cents per share.
The precious metals streaming and royalty company posted revenue of $235.7 million in the period.
Franco-Nevada shares have increased 36% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $95.74, an increase of 48% in the last 12 months.
