For the three months ended September 30, 2017, Manitowoc's revenue increased 14.2% to $399.4 million from $349.8 million in Q3 FY16, due to a higher demand primarily in the US markets. The Company's revenue numbers surpassed analysts' expectations of $381 million.

For the reported quarter, the Company's backlog increased 32.3% to $467.9 million from $353.6 million in Q3 FY16. For the reported quarter, the Company's orders increased 21% to $376.1 million on a y-o-y basis.
