Freeze Tag Transforms With New Mitmegu Munzee Game Piece
TUSTIN, CA / ACCESSWIRE / February 7, 2019 / Freeze Tag (OTC PINK: FRZT), a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, on Wednesday released Mitmegu (pronounced ''Mit-May-Goo''), a new Pouch Creature game piece, for their flagship mobile game Munzee. The company is pleased to announce that more than a thousand of the new limited edition virtual game pieces sold within the first two hours of going on sale.
Mitmegu is an ever-changing Pouch Creature that transforms into new creatures when it lands on different types of Munzee game pieces. Mitmegu will turn into a Jootmegu, a Rohimegu, or a Lokemegu if it lands on a Water, Earth, or Fire Mystery Munzee respectively. This transformation process is different than other Pouch Creatures like Tuli, Vesi, or Muru, which rely on capture streaks to change forms. This change in gameplay was accompanied with a lower price point, which players have embraced.

Each individually numbered Mitmegu Pouch Creature Munzee is purchased by a player. That virtual game piece then travels around the worldwide map to be captured by other players. The Pouch Creatures line of products are based on set items in another Freeze Tag game, WallaBee. Pouch Creatures are also similar to the Mythological Munzee line, which has become a staple of the Munzee game.
In addition to the release of Mitmegu, the sale also included the restructuring of the Bouncer Upgrade credit. Formerly known as the Myth Upgrade, the Bouncer Upgrade credit allows Mythological and Pouch Creature Munzees to unlock new features. Previously Upgrade credits were only available for Mythological Munzees, but now all player-owned Pouch Creatures can be upgraded as well.
Bouncer Upgrade credits cost $5 each and allow players to rename and ''nudge'' their bouncing munzees. By nudging an upgraded bouncer players can move their Myths or Pouch Creatures to new areas of the map if they have not been captured within three hours. This feature is particularly important for Tuli, Vesi and Muru Pouch Creatures which rely on daily capture streaks to reach their next level.
