BAD HOMBURG, Germany (AP) _ Fresenius Medical Care AG (FMS) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $307.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the Bad Homburg, Germany-based company said it had net income of 50 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 59 cents per share.
The dialysis services provider posted revenue of $4.69 billion in the period.
Fresenius shares have increased 29% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 18% in the last 12 months.
