DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (AP) _ FTD Companies Inc. (FTD) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $118.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Downers Grove, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of $4.25. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and stock option expense, came to 23 cents per share.
The flower and gift company posted revenue of $299.9 million in the period.
FTD expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.03 billion to $1.04 billion.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $3.36. A year ago, they were trading at $18.94.
