Bitcoin has become one of the key topics of discussion amongst major news and financial outlets such as Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters and more. However, the leading cryptocurrency has attracted the attention of movie producers as Bitcoin has been mentioned in a few films.

South Park Creators Say Centralized Banking is Rigged
One of the major messages behind Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency space is decentralization. The centralized financial system has been running the world for the past few centuries, and people have come to realize that the system is flawed. Hence, the creation and adoption of decentralized finance and other similar technologies over the past few years.
South Park, one of the leading animated shows in the world, talked about Bitcoin in its recent episode. The creators said the centralized banking system is rigged, and Bitcoin is the only acceptable method of payment.
A motel clerk told Stan that “Now, of course, we only take bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Because… ya know — It’s the future — we’ve all decided centralized banking is rigged, so we trust more in fly-by-night Ponzi schemes.” Stan went ahead to pay for a room using a card bearing the bitcoin logo on it with a QR code.
