FYI, Liam Hemsworth Has Been in Australia Ever Since Miley Cyrus Announced Their Breakup
It looks like Liam Hemsworth has been hanging out in Australia (where he's from) ever since the news that he and Miley Cyrus broke up went public.
He was seen out at a bar with friends last night.
While Miley Cyrus has been dealing with her split from husband Liam Hemsworth by kissing/hanging out with/going on vacation with her new flame Kaitlynn Carter, it looks like Liam has taken a very different approach to the situation, and has instead been hiding out in Australia.
According to TMZ, Liam has been in his home country of Australia ever since Miley's rep confirmed their breakup last weekend, announcing that the two were calling it quits after less than a year of marriage. The outlet reports that Liam "did not seem the worse for wear Saturday as he hit-up a bar in Australia with some mates." And that makes it sound like Liam's doing okay, right?
Perhaps because he's in Byron Bay rather than paparazzi hot spot Los Angeles (where Miley is currently), Liam has been able to keep a pretty low profile since the breakup went public—and that seems to be how he wants it. A few days ago he posted on Instagram to say that he won't be commenting on the split, writing:
Hi all
Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.
This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false.
