LOUISVILLE, Colo. (AP) _ Gaiam Inc. (GAIA) on Monday reported a loss of $3.6 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Louisville, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 16 cents per share.
The lifestyle media company posted revenue of $14.5 million in the period.
Gaiam shares have increased 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $10.15, an increase of 14% in the last 12 months.
