LOUISVILLE, Colo. (AP) _ Gaiam Inc. (GAIA) on Monday reported a loss of $4.1 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Louisville, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 23 cents.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 27 cents per share.
The lifestyle media company posted revenue of $13.7 million in the period.
Gaiam shares have decreased 29% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $7.34, a drop of 52% in the last 12 months.
