LOUISVILLE, Colo. (AP) _ Gaiam Inc. (GAIA) on Monday reported a loss of $10.3 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Louisville, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 58 cents.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 41 cents per share.
The lifestyle media company posted revenue of $11.4 million in the period.
Gaiam shares have climbed 26 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $15.67, an increase of 27 percent in the last 12 months.
