LOUISVILLE, Colo. (AP) _ Gaiam Inc. (GAIA) on Monday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $3.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Louisville, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, came to 23 cents per share.
The lifestyle media company posted revenue of $4.8 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $87.1 million, or $4.39 per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $17.2 million.
Gaiam shares have dropped almost 3 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $8.40, a rise of 51 percent in the last 12 months.
