Gap to return to television ads this fall

On The Gap's (GPS) Q2 earnings conference call, management said the company will begin advertising on television sometime this fall. The exact date was not specified. They also said they would be making a strong push towards acquiring new customers in the back half of the year. "You are going to see us put more money toward person casting and really try to speak to specific groups of customers that we believe should be experiencing the brand and should be in our stores and on our online sites across all six of our brands."
