MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Gardner Denver Holdings Inc. (GDI) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $44.9 million.
The Milwaukee-based company said it had net income of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 43 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 39 cents per share.
The maker of flow control and compression equipment posted revenue of $629.1 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $638.1 million.
Gardner Denver shares have climbed 61% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $32.99, a climb of 15% in the last 12 months.
