MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Gardner Denver Holdings Inc. (GDI) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $41.3 million.
The Milwaukee-based company said it had net income of 20 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 41 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 37 cents per share.
The maker of flow control and compression equipment posted revenue of $596.7 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $622.2 million.
Gardner Denver shares have increased 58% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $32.33, an increase of 24% in the last 12 months.
