Looking for a piece of pop culture history to add to your expanding real estate collection? Or, okay, looking for an amazing home to imagine is part of your (pretend) real estate collection? You won't need to look any further—the former Santa Barbara mansion of late Wham! member and pop music icon George Micheal has just hit the market, and you could be the new owner for a cool $5.995 million.

The 5.7-acre property, located in the foothills of Santa Barbara, was designed by architect Cliff Hickman, who was heavily influenced by the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. The home's honeycomb-like framework is designed around a central fireplace, and the wraparound terrace offers picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean, as well as the pool, sauna, lighted tennis court, and guest house below.

George purchased the Santa Barbara property back in 1989 for approximately $3 million from the original owners. The current owner purchased the property from George in 1996 for about $2 million. The pop music icon was working on two albums during his time at the Santa Barbara mansion—Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, which was released in 1990, and Older, which was released in early 1996.

With five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, this property was meant for entertaining—there are even 25 parking spaces available in the spacious driveway and a guest house.

Described as "a quiet sanctuary" in the listing details, the secluded oasis is only ten minutes to downtown Santa Barbara and a short drive to the Old Mission and Rose Garden, the Botanic Garden, beaches, and there are numerous nearby trails for biking and hiking.

The property is listed with Kirk Hodson and Jon-Ryan Scholbohm of Compass.
