German energy regulator: Nord Stream leaks do not impact gas supply

BERLIN, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Germany's energy regulator said on Wednesday that the leaks on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines have no impact on the country's gas supply.

"No gas has been delivered via Nord Stream 1 since the beginning of September anyway and Nord Stream 2 has never been commissioned," it said in its daily gas supply report.

It added that Germany's interior ministry was in close contact with German security agencies as well as with Danish and Swedish partners. (Reporting by Maria Sheahan, editing by Rachel More)
