'Ghost Hunters' To Return After Three Year Hiatus

The iconic paranormal show is returning to A&E.

New Series, New Mysteries

Since it went off the air in 2016, fans of the paranormal have been clamoring for the return of Ghost Hunters. Well, the television gods -- or rather A&E -- have heard your pleas: Ghost Hunters is returning with original host Grant Wilson.

The New Team

Wilson, the co-founder of TAPS, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, left the original Ghost Hunters in 2012. His new team will include Daryl Marston, Kristen Luman, Brandon Alvis, Mustafa Gatollari, Brian Murray and Richel Stratton.

Why Come Back Now?

EVP and Head of Programming at A&E Network Elaine Frontain Bryant explained that now is the best time for Ghost Hunters to return.

"A&E has been on the forefront of programming in the paranormal space and with that success, we have been eager to bring the genre back to the network for some time. Each of these series has a unique point of view, but will collectively give our audience a window into a world of spellbinding stories that have to be seen to be believed."

Will You Be Watching?

The A&E revival has been greenlit for 20 episodes and will premiere on August 21. Will you be checking in to see what goes bump in the night?
