Gigi Hadid Matches Her Logo Jacket to Her Carry-On
Gigi Hadid is on her way to Milan Fashion Week, and she’s already paying homage to the Italian fashion capital in a double dose of Fendi. When the model left her apartment in New York this afternoon, en route to John F. Kennedy International Airport, she made a convincing case for matching your clothes to your carry-on. Logos have continued to gain traction, as Fendi resurfaced the house motif on the Fall 2018 Men’s runway last month, and Gigi joined a rank of celebrities including Rita Ora and Bella Hadid, who have been following suit in monogrammed looks of their own.
Like Bella, who paired a sweater with a cross-body bag in the same print, Gigi threw on Fendi’s monogrammed bomber and matched it to her luggage strap. The combination was bold, to say the least, but thanks to her jacket’s knit finish, it didn’t sacrifice comfort. A slim-fit turtleneck and black skinny jeans helped create a clean line that let the logos shine. Gigi also stepped up her accessories game in iRi patent leather combat boots and flat-top sunglasses with pearl embellishments.
