MCLEAN, Va. (AP) _ Gladstone Capital Corp. (GLAD) on Wednesday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $9.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The McLean, Virginia-based company said it had a loss of 35 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 21 cents per share.
The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $11.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $18.6 million, or 69 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $45.6 million.
Gladstone Capital shares have climbed slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $9.23, a drop of nearly 4 percent in the last 12 months.
