Global Brass and Copper posts 4Q profit

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (AP) _ Global Brass and Copper Holdings Inc. (BRSS) on Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $7.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Schaumburg, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 35 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 40 cents per share.

The fabricator and distributor of brass and copper products posted revenue of $322.6 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $32.2 million, or $1.49 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.34 billion.

Global Brass and Copper shares have dropped slightly more than 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $33.85, an increase of 51 percent in the last 12 months.
