GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands (AP) _ Global Indemnity PLC (GBLI) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $7.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the George Town, Cayman Islands-based company said it had net income of 50 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 79 cents per share.
The insurance and reinsurance holding company posted revenue of $128 million in the period.
Global Indemnity shares have declined slightly more than 4 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $40.18, a rise of slightly more than 3 percent in the last 12 months.
