GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands (AP) _ Global Indemnity PLC (GBLI) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $3.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the George Town, Cayman Islands-based company said it had profit of 26 cents. Losses, adjusted for investment gains, came to 3 cents per share.
The insurance and reinsurance holding company posted revenue of $138 million in the period.
Global Indemnity shares have decreased 15 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 16 percent in the last 12 months.
