DUBLIN (AP) _ Global Indemnity PLC (GBLI) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $38.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the Dublin-based company said it had profit of $2.18. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, were $1.05 per share.
The insurance and reinsurance holding company posted revenue of $149.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $49.9 million, or $2.84 per share. Revenue was reported as $534.5 million.
Global Indemnity shares have risen almost 4 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $39.60, a climb of 32 percent in the last 12 months.
