The Pittsburgh-based company said it had a loss of 23 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 15 cents per share.
The nutritional supplement retailer posted revenue of $564.8 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $2.04. A year ago, they were trading at $3.75.
