LAS VEGAS (AP) _ Golden Entertainment Inc. (GDEN) on Thursday reported a loss of $9.4 million in its third quarter.
The Las Vegas-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 16 cents per share.
The gaming services provider posted revenue of $243.3 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $241.7 million.
Golden Entertainment shares have fallen almost 3% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $15.56, a drop of 10% in the last 12 months.
