Golden Valley Bank’s Community Foundation Reaches $1 Million in Grants and Donations Since 2009


Golden Valley Bank (GVYB) headquartered in Chico, California announced today that since 2009 their Community Foundation has donated over $1 million to a variety of local non-profit organizations and community groups to help support their worthwhile causes.

The Golden Valley Bank Community Foundation is a nonprofit corporation supporting programs in the areas of financial literacy, the environment, health, human and family services, and best practices for small nonprofit organizations. It is the Foundation’s goal to be a catalyst and partner in finding innovative and workable solutions for the betterment of the community. Additionally, the Foundation helps manage funds for many smaller community groups allowing them to focus on raising money for their causes.
