SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) _ GoPro Inc. (GPRO) on Thursday reported a loss of $74.8 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the San Mateo, California-based company said it had a loss of 51 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 42 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 48 cents per share.
The action video camera maker posted revenue of $131.2 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $125.3 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $4.45. A year ago, they were trading at $5.75.
