Gray Television: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

ATLANTA (AP) _ Gray Television Inc. (GTN) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $18 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Atlanta-based company said it had a loss of 31 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 27 cents per share.

The broadcast television company posted revenue of $518 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in July, Gray Television said it expects revenue in the range of $502 million.

Gray Television shares have risen 50% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 94% in the last 12 months.
