OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Green Plains Renewable Energy Inc. (GPRE) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $12.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Omaha, Nebraska-based company said it had a loss of 31 cents per share.
The ethanol production, marketing and commodities company posted revenue of $1 billion in the period.
Green Plains shares have increased nearly 3 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased nearly 3 percent in the last 12 months.
