The year-long program provides emerging leaders with hands-on projects and workshops led by faculty from Harvard Business School on topics including management, social responsibility, inclusive leadership, and effective communications. Harris is a registered patent attorney and focuses her law practice on the life sciences industry. Through strategic procurement, management, and defense, she builds global intellectual property portfolios for start-ups, universities, and life science companies with technologies relating to gene-editing, oncology, immuno-oncology, biomarkers, diagnostics, biologics, stem cell compositions, proteomics, genetics, food and agriculture science, drug delivery, and medical devices. Prior to practicing law, she obtained her Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Vanderbilt University.
