GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (AP) _ Greenlight Capital Re Ltd. (GLRE) on Monday reported second-quarter net income of $15.3 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands-based company said it had net income of 42 cents per share.
The property and casualty reinsurance service provider posted revenue of $140.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $125.9 million.
Greenlight Capital Re shares have fallen almost 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $8.14, a drop of 41% in the last 12 months.
