GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (AP) _ Greenlight Capital Re Ltd. (GLRE) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $5.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands-based company said it had net income of 14 cents per share.
The property and casualty reinsurance service provider posted revenue of $138.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $131.6 million.
Greenlight Capital Re shares have climbed 26% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $10.89, a decline of slightly more than 4% in the last 12 months.
