DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) _ Greif Inc. (GEF.B) on Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $5.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Delaware, Ohio-based company said it had profit of 10 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, were 45 cents per share.
The industrial packaging company posted revenue of $820.9 million in the period.
Greif expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.78 to $3.08 per share.
Greif shares have increased roughly 9 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $73.45, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
