GuestLogix Announces Rapid Implementation Onboard Primera Air in Partnership with Servair

Company's Flexible Retailing Technology Solutions Deployed to Launch the Seasonal Carrier

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2014) - GuestLogix Inc. (GXI.TO), the leading global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced the deployment of its retail technology platform and handheld POS devices onboard new seasonal carrier, Primera Air. This agreement was made in partnership with major European airline catering specialist, Servair, for the management of the carrier's Buy on Board program, including the enablement of secure credit card transactions for the inflight sale of food and beverage. With this announcement, GuestLogix and Servair demonstrate their ability to deploy their joint solution quickly and efficiently, highlighting the value of this industry partnership.

"Our collaboration with Servair on the execution of this time-sensitive deployment speaks volumes to the flexibility of our offerings and our commitment to customer satisfaction," said GuestLogix President & CEO, Brett Proud. "Being mindful of timing, we were able to leverage our expertise both individually and as a whole to remain on schedule and literally get this airline off the ground with a full Buy on Board program in place. We are thrilled to welcome our third joint customer with Servair and to enable Primera Air to have a successful 2014 season."

Primera Air will use GuestLogix' PCI-compliant handheld POS devices to accept major credit cards for the purchase of food and beverage across its European route network. The Company's Global Payment Gateway™ and back-office will also be leveraged to protect Primera Air's operations and enhance its onboard retailing performance.

"We didn't want to compromise quality, yet we had a limited timeframe to work with, as our onboard store needed to be open in time for our summer 2014 launch," said Sigurdur Helgason, Inflight Sales Manager, Primera Air. "Industry experts, GuestLogix and Servair, promised they could work with our tight timeline to get our Buy on Board program up and running, and successfully followed through on their commitment. We are very pleased with our decision to work with these partners, and to be offering best in class offerings to our passengers."

GuestLogix and Servair formed a strategic channel partnership in 2012, with shared customers in France and North Africa. Servair relies on the Company's Transaction Processing Engine® (TPE®) and Global Payment Gateway™, backed by 82 payment and operational certifications, to offer the most secure retailing solutions to its customers and their passengers. With this agreement, the partnership welcomes its third joint customer in the EMEA region and further strengthens the value of its channel partner relationship.

"Our top priority is our customers, and by working with a fellow industry leader like GuestLogix, we are able to offer the best in catering and retailing technology to our clients," said Claude Thenevin, Executive Vice President for Sales Marketing and Innovation, Servair. "Through our partnership, we provide winning Buy on Board programs that enhance revenue opportunity for airlines as well as the inflight experience for their passengers. Our efficient deployment across Primera Air exemplifies the flexibility and reliability of our services, and we are delighted to support this new airline customer moving forward."

Primera Air launched its summer schedule in May 2014 with a network throughout Europe.
