MIAMI (AP) _ The Hackett Group Inc. (HCKT) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $11.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Miami-based company said it had profit of 36 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 27 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 27 cents per share.
The consulting company posted revenue of $75.6 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $75 million.
For the current quarter ending in October, Hackett Group expects its per-share earnings to range from 26 cents to 28 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $67 million to $69 million for the fiscal third quarter.
Hackett Group shares have increased 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $18.32, a climb of 16 percent in the last 12 months.
