MIAMI (AP) _ The Hackett Group Inc. (HCKT) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $6.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Miami-based company said it had net income of 19 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 26 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 24 cents per share.
The consulting company posted revenue of $70.1 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $67.9 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $21.5 million, or 66 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $288.6 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Hackett Group expects its per-share earnings to range from 22 cents to 24 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $72 million to $74 million for the fiscal first quarter.
Hackett Group shares have fallen slightly more than 3 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $17.08, a climb of 30 percent in the last 12 months.
