WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) _ Handy & Harman Ltd. (HNH) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $18.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the White Plains, New York-based company said it had a loss of $1.53.
The industrial products maker posted revenue of $235.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $10.9 million, or 89 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $828.3 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Handy & Harman said it expects revenue in the range of $207 million to $253 million.
Handy & Harman shares have decreased nearly 7 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $23.85, a rise of 20 percent in the last 12 months.
