LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Hanmi Financial Corp. (HAFC) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $12.4 million.
The Los Angeles-based bank said it had earnings of 40 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 47 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $69 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $50.9 million, which also missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $51 million.
Hanmi Financial shares have decreased almost 4% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $19, a drop of 11% in the last 12 months.
