LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Hanmi Financial Corp. (HAFC) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $3.1 million.
The Los Angeles-based bank said it had earnings of 10 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 43 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $67.4 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $50.6 million, meeting Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $32.8 million, or $1.06 per share. Revenue was reported as $203.4 million.
Hanmi Financial shares have dropped 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $18.78, a fall of 16% in the last 12 months.
