WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) _ The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. (THG) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $100.4 million.
The Worcester, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of $2.33 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $1.97 per share.
The insurance company posted revenue of $1.17 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.14 billion.
Hanover Insurance shares have risen slightly more than 4 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $112.77, a climb of 15 percent in the last 12 months.
