In case you didn't know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's story is already being made into a TV movie. Hollywood does work fast to make that sweet dollar, doesn't it?

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance has now cast two key players – namely Harry's mother Princess Diana and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II – in the forms of Bonnie Soper and Maggie Sullivun respectively.

The former is a New Zealand actress who has appeared in TV drama Filthy Rich in her home country, while the latter starred in the last season of Fargo.

They join Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley, who will play the leads in the Lifetime special that chronicles the couple's relationship from when they met, ahead of their real-life wedding on May 19.

Production is already under way for the movie, which is set to be released in the spring, though we're not expecting great things.

If Lifetime's previous efforts William and Kate: The Movie and that Britney Spears movie that we shall never speak of again are anything to go by, it should be terrible (but in a kind of brilliantly watchable way).

And hey, who are we to judge? Maybe a bit of trashy schmaltz is just what we need at the moment.

As for those of you who care about the actual, real-life wedding, details were released earlier this week that include exactly what time the ceremony begins.

However, that won't make any difference to our lives considering we don't get a day off. Sorry Hazza and Megs.
