Some of Harry Styles Fans Aren't Happy That He Will Perform at Super Bowl Pre-Show
Harry Styles is an entertainer but has never been into sports of any kind. However, that is about to change because he has been invited to perform at Super Bowl LIV pre-show. Although he is already set to perform, some of his fans aren't happy about it at all. Why is Styles performing at the Super Bowl such an issue for some of his fans?
Many people are really excited to watch the next Super Bowl, whether live at the stadium or from home on their televisions. The reason for this is because of Shakira and Jennifer Lopez performing at the halftime show.

Although Shakira and Lopez will be performing at the halftime show and Harry Styles will be performing at the pre-show, Shakira and Lopez will be the only ones performing at the halftime show.
The event Styles will be performing at is the pre-game show. He will be performing alongside D.J Mark Ronson. D.J Mark Ronson is well-known in the music industry for producing such hits as 'Shallow' by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and 'Uptown Funk' by Bruno Marks. Styles said he is excited for this event to take place. He said, "I’m excited to be playing the Pepsi Super Bowl party this year. I hear they’re amazing and I’m looking forward to it. See you in Miami.”
However, why are some fans not happy about Styles' planned performance at this popular sports event? It is all because some of his supporters are also in support of Colin Kaepernick. Many people, even those who aren't into sports or football at all for that matter, know all about Kaepernick and his battle with the NFL.
Because Pepsi supports the NFL, and because Kaepernick has been fighting the NFL, some of Harry Style's fans don't want him to perform at the pre-game show. They think he should back out of his commitment to the Super Bowl because of the controversy between the NFL and Kaepernick.
Although his fans are requesting him to back out, even on Twitter using the hashtag #Harrybackout, Styles has not responded to their requests for him to back out yet. Although he has not responded to their requests, no one knows for sure whether he will or not. However, Styles is the type of person to support his fans.
This wouldn't be the first thing Styles has supported during his performances. He supports LGBTQ, Black Lives Matters, gun control, and more.
During one of his performances, he waived the pride flag in support of LGBTQ rights. He also once, while performing, added a Black Lives Matter sticker to his guitar, and waived a flag in support of Black Lives Matter as well.
His song, 'Sign of the Times', according to Styles, was all about all of the issues that we face every day in this world today. Styles said, "We’re in a difficult time, and I think we’ve been in many difficult times before. But we happen to be in a time where things happening around the world are absolutely impossible to ignore.”
He also said, "I think it would’ve been strange to not acknowledge what was going on at all. For example, ‘Sign of the Times,’ for me, it’s looking at several different things. That’s me commenting on different things."
Kaepernick is one of the Black Lives Matter faces. Maybe, because of this fact, Styles will choose to back out in support of his fans and in support of Kaepernick himself.
