HONOLULU (AP) _ Hawaiian Holdings Inc. (HA) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $80.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the Honolulu-based company said it had net income of $1.70. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.72 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.69 per share.
The parent company of Hawaiian Airlines posted revenue of $755.2 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $748.1 million.
Hawaiian Holdings shares have climbed 14% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $30.13, a decline of 13% in the last 12 months.
