Bill Drummy, Chairman of leading healthcare marketing agency Heartbeat, has been recognized by MM&M Magazine as one of its inaugural Innovation Catalysts. Mr. Drummy and other award recipients were honored at a congratulatory dinner on May 1, 2017, the culmination of MM&M’s third annual Transforming Healthcare conference in New York City.
According to the magazine’s announcement, Drummy was selected because “few people embody the spirit of innovation, motivation, and inspiration within life sciences more [than him].” The magazine continued by detailing Drummy’s devotion across a twenty-plus-year career, noting that “he has catalyzed change as an entrepreneur and a thought leader, working to illuminate stagnant practices and antiquated thinking by showing the industry a path to the future. He's not afraid to say the tough things out loud, into a microphone, no matter the audience.” The announcement also points to his “infectious enthusiasm about inventiveness, creativity, and next-generation technology [raising] the bar for his peers.”
Drummy was recognized with this honor after 19 years leading Heartbeat as CEO & Founder. He recently assumed the new role of Chairman, in which he will guide business development and thought leadership.
