Hedge Funds Are Dumping Cedar Realty Trust Inc (CDR)

We have been receiving indications that hedge funds were increasing their overall exposure in the third quarter and this is one of the factors behind the recent movements in major indices. In this article, we will take a closer look at hedge fund sentiment towards Cedar Realty Trust Inc (NYSE:CDR).

Tudor Investment Corp is also relatively very bullish on the stock, designating 0.02 percent of its 13F equity portfolio to CDR.

As you can see these stocks had an average of 10.75 hedge funds with bullish positions and the average amount invested in these stocks was $19 million. That figure was $17 million in CDR's case. RR Donnelley & Sons Company (NASDAQ:RRD) is the most popular stock in this table. On the other hand Denison Mines Corp (NYSE:DNN) is the least popular one with only 3 bullish hedge fund positions. Cedar Realty Trust Inc (NYSE:CDR) is not the least popular stock in this group but hedge fund interest is still below average. This is a slightly negative signal and we'd rather spend our time researching stocks that hedge funds are piling on. Our calculations showed that top 20 most popular stocks among hedge funds returned 37.4% in 2019 through the end of November and outperformed the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) by 9.9 percentage points.
